Vicente Calderón Stadium is home of Atlético Madrid. Originally called the Manzanares Stadium, the venue is located in the heart of Madrid, on the banks of the Manzanares.
The stadium hosts international matches of the Spanish national team, as well as an array of other important events. Ever since 2003, the Vicente Calderón Stadium has been classified as a 5 Star UEFA Elite stadium, the first in Spain to achieve this status.
