Did you know that in the heart of Madrid, within a short distance from Castellana, you'll find a true oasis of peace and tranquility: Olivar de Castillejo? Its history can be traced back to 1917, when José Castillejo bought the Olivar del Balcón.
After three generations, El Olivar de Castillejo retained intact over a hundred olive trees along with other trees, shrubs and exotic flowering plants. On the site of the olivar you'll find the headquarters of the Fundación Olivar de Castillejo, a cultural organization, established in 1985 by the heirs of José Castillejo.
