An extraordinary journey through the "how and why" of things

The Museo de la Ciencia Cosmo Caixa is an interactive science museum just outside Madrid. Activity rooms here are a trip of discovery for people of all ages. The rooms reveal, in progressive fashion, how the laws of nature caused our planet to evolve. Year round exhibits are presented.

One of the most popular exhibits is called Toca Toca (Touch Touch). Here visitors interact with touchable small live animals like frogs and turtles in artificially created tropical settings. Other scientific attractions offer a unique glimpse into the "how and why" of things in our ecosystem. Many other attractions are here too, as well as refreshments.
