Lavapiés is the area where different cultures and traditions meet. Originally the Jewish neighborhood, it is now home to people from all over the world. This is where you will find interesting graffiti art, delicious street food, some of the best parties in Madrid and a bohemian atmosphere.

The steep streets give great views of the area. Artists love the creative vibe in the Lavapiés area and food lovers will feel at home in this diverse area. However, it's not one of the safest areas at night.
